Hair loss can be defined as the lessening of hair on the scalp. The medical term of hair loss is alopecia, which can be temporary or permanent. Aside Androgenetic Alopecia, there are other forms of hair loss that includes Alopecia Areata (patches of baldness that usually grow back), Telogen Effluvium (fast shedding after childbirth, fever or abrupt weight loss) and Traction Alopecia (reduction from tight braids or ponytails).
